Once upon a time, in a house too full of kitties and too short on attention, a scrappy little gray fluffball named Fidget was just trying to survive. Undersized, sniffly, and overlooked, she came into our rescue with a serious case of the kitten blahs. Fast forward a couple of months, and oh boy — Fidget is now a whole vibe. Fidget is an outgoing, energetic little sparkplug who believes every hallway is for zoomies and every tail is worth chasing. She lives for playtime with her fellow foster cats and takes her birdwatching duties very seriously from her favorite spot in the screened in catio. She’s also not shy about expressing her blossoming feline opinions. If you dare close the bedroom door without her? Expect to hear about it. Hungry? You’ll hear about that too. But don’t worry, Fidget’s not all sass. When the games are over, she turns into a sweet little snuggle bug who just wants to curl up next to you for some well-earned cuddles and purrs. Fidget has expressly asked her foster mom to note here that she is looking for a forever home with: Other playful kitties who won’t mind a new rookie on the team (must be willing to share snacks) Humans who appreciate a good “conversation” with their cat (also must be willing to share snacks) Gentle kiddos who know how to treat a queen (kids = lots of snacks) Maybe even a respectful dog or two — she’s currently living with a couple and doesn’t mind their doggish ways Fidget is litter box trained, microchipped, combo tested (negative for FIV and feline leukemia) and up to date on vaccinations. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Fidget's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Fidget was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Fidget’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Fidget’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Fidget’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
