A little bit about Belladonna. This beautiful mama cat was trapped at an apartment complex by a concerned citizen because she appeared very pregnant and the next day she gave birth to 5 precious kittens, safe and sound in a home. Belladonna knew she was protected and felt comfortable enough to give birth to her babies! She has been a great mom to her babies and now itâs time for her to enjoy a stress free life not having to worry about her next meal, a stray dog bothering her, protecting and feeding babies and most importantly now knowing she is loved! Belladonna is a calm, easy and gentle mom who tends to keep to herself but does love getting pets. When not watching her kittens running around, she likes to look at nature through the window and nap. On occasion Iâve heard her playing with toys and my heart melts because she didnât have toys when she was a stray out in the community. I hope someone will read her bio and consider giving her a wonderful life she deserves despite not being that lap, snuggle with you kinda cat. Her babies will be adopted soon but she is ready for the new chapter in life.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and BELLADONNA was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, BELLADONNA’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the BELLADONNA’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, BELLADONNA’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
