About this Cat
Maggie is a sassy but social butterfly who loves attention, but can also be independent when she needs her "me time." She loves to play with her brother because they typically like playing a little rough. She'd love to go to a home with her brother Miki or another cat who can keep up with her playful energy. She is a confident girl who knows what she wants, & she takes playtime very seriously. After a bit of exercise, she likes to curl up in the bed & recuperate for her next adventure with a furry friend or human. She is still learning to play gentle with humans so she is likely not good with small children as she can be very playful & might try to play with a child the way she plays with her siblings. She does experience some cuteness aggression toward her humans when she is feeling extra playful & will nibble for more attention. After being raised outside for the first 9mo. of her life, Maggie has mastered climbing or jumping onto high surfaces (she used to climb very tall trees outside.) She still prefers to sit at the top of our tallest cabinets & is our only cat who has managed to get up there! She is a real "sour patch kid" and she will be an absolute hoot full of personality & fun to add to someone's family! She used to interact with dogs outdoors but recently after meeting 2 dogs (1 small & 1 large) we find she does a lot better with the larger dogs.

Adopt Maggie and Receive Maggie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Maggie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Maggie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Maggie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Maggie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Maggie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Maggie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Maggie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Maggie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
