About this Dog
Athena is a fun, spunky, sweet girl. At just 1 year and 3 months old, she is still learning about the world around her and growing her confidence. -Loyal: Once you gain her trust she will be your #1 fan and is very loving to her person -Playful: She still has puppy energy and loves to play and be active-Super smart: She picks up training quickly and understands verbal corrections easily. VERY treat motivated-Potty trained: While she is still working on going to the door, she usually does her business very quickly once going outside-Good on leash: She does GREAT on the leash and loves to go on walks/runs-Social: She likes to play with new friends but can sometimes be timid at first when meeting other pups, once she trusts them they will be her new best friend. She would be GREAT as a second dog to join the pack.-Kid friendly: While still needing to take things slow, she has done well with kids of all ages.-Confident & blossoming: She may start off timid but will quickly warm up, she is a sweet and affectionate girl to all humans once she knows they can be trusted. Athena had surgery on both of her back legs due to growing too fast as a pup. She is now healed, spayed, healthy, and ready for her new home! If you're looking for a loving, loyal, and playful best friend, Athena might be the perfect match for you!

100% of ATHENA's balance will be sent to whoever adopts ATHENA.
Adopt ATHENA and Receive ATHENA's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, ATHENA's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is ATHENA's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the ATHENA, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming ATHENA's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and ATHENA was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, ATHENA’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the ATHENA’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, ATHENA’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
