Hello! IEven though I am big, I'm not aggressicI'm Ishmael and I was found at apartments severely beat up by anothr cat that was feral. ve. I was rescued by a kind lady and brought to my foster mama to be taken to a vet because of my injuries, It took me quite a while to get better and comfortable with my new surroundings. I'm very laid back and really chill. Eventually my mama found out I was good with kittens...I'n the babysitter! I usually have a kitten or two laying on me or next to me. Then one day I started playing with the wand toy alongside the kittens!! I began coming out of my shell and participating from time to time. I probably won't be a lap cat but once I get to trust you, I'm a sweetheart of a cat! ld love to have a forever home - for real this time - and make your family complete. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ishmael was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ishmael’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ishmael’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ishmael’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
