About this Dog
Hi, my name is Rams, which is short for Ramesses (Egyptian pharaoh because of my eyes). I am about 10to11 years old, AND I am vibrant and healthy. I come from a home of 6 furbabies, because my mom loved dogs and kept saving us from the streets. But she is getting a divorce, and her financial, home and future situation is uncertain. She wants me to have a loving home to live out the rest of my time on this earth. She has loved me so well since 2014 when she found me in Katy in the early morning in a nasty thunderstorm. I hopped right into the truck and knew I was safe. I am loving and VERY LOW maintenance. I am trained to go outside, love treats, and love to cuddle on the couch (my mom does not sit on the couch much anymore), and I am loving cuddlebug. I think I am a lapdog. I don’t like storms, so I will need a caring human to make me feel safe during those scary things. I will bark at strangers at the door, but otherwise I sleep. I still like to play like a puppy at times, even though I am an adult. I am excellent with other dogs and people because my mom is always fostering dogs. I have been a wonderful family member because I am the goodest boy. It is hard to believe I am 11, because I am still pretty handsome and young-looking. I am healthy and take no medications. I am about 37 lbs, and my mom calls me little-big-dog. I do like to sleep in bed with mom, but she does not let me all the time (bummer), but I am adaptable. I just need a new home and family, because my mom can’t do it all by herself anymore.
