Xena and Gaby are a bonded pair and would like to be adopted togetheer so we have a special adoption fee of only $125.00 for both.This darling light brown little tabby is named Xena and her best friend is called Gaby. Rescued as separate abandoned kittens before their eyes were even open, the two of them were bottle fed by one of our wonderful SPCA PETSSNAP volunteers. They were adopted out together when they were about 4 months old but had to be returned at 11 months so are now looking for a new home. They are well-socialized around people they love to be petted and are little purr machines. Once they're done playing they cuddle up on a welcoming lap or people bed for a nap. These kitties have even passed the grand kid test and all participants got along just fine! They haven't been around dogs yet, but we anticipate they'd adjust easily to dogs or children as long as they were well behaved and gentle. My foster mom says I have the cutest spotted tummy and I do adore belly rubs. Sometimes I like to suck on my tail--does this make me weird or unique? Gaby and I have growin up together and have had a blast, so if you might be looking for two bonded kitties just pick us! Since we were both rescued off the streets we don't want to risk that again, so please keep us inside only. As with all of our rescue pets they are already spayed, tested negative for feline diseases FIV and FeLuk, up to date vaccinations, worming, flea control/heartworm prevention and even a microchip! Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Xena's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Xena was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Xena’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Xena’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Xena’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
