After their whole litter was diagnosed with parvo, Panda and Tofu made amazing quick recoveries and have since been healthy, amazing puppies! They love playing with their foster sisters all day long and playing endless rounds of bitey face with each other when the older dogs are done playing. They are beginning to go into their crate on their own when we say “time to get in your bed”. They are both quiet once in the crate and sleep through the night. When they are crated and the humans return home, they have the loudest husky woo’s and howls you’ll ever hear! Tofu is louder and can be a silly talker at other times through the day. Their favorite activity is collecting all of the toys in the house and yard, and making a pile of toys on their dog bed so they have endless choices to play with. They both love a good belly rub and cuddling with their humans. They are both smart, good listeners who will be easy to train into perfect companions. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tofu was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tofu’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tofu’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tofu’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
