LOCATION: Mission, TXDOB: 05/01/2024Hey hoomans! I'm Oreo, your future best friend! At just a year old (okay, maybe a few months younger), I'm proudly rockin' life in Mission, TX. My foster mom says I'm a goofy, clumsy boy who doesn't know my own size. But hey, who needs to worry about that? I’m a fan of leaping into laps and couches, whether you're ready or not! That’s how you know I’m excited, right? Sometimes I might be a little too energetic and send you flying when I zoom by. Don’t worry—I'm just a big cuddle monster! But hold on tight when we’re out on a leash; I guarantee an unforgettable ride! I’m crate trained but, let’s be honest, I’d rather be by your side. I even lay flat like a pancake when Mom tries to put me in! Sometimes I make those puppy eyes to get out, because who wants to miss out on all the shoe-chewing fun? Family includes a cat I love to play with (he’s pretty chill, usually), plus a couple of chihuahuas who aren’t into my playful vibes. But I sniff, wag my tail, and make friends through the fence with the outside pups! I know Mom loves me, but I can't wait to find my forever family who will adore this big, fluffy teddy bear! Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Oreo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Oreo, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Oreo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Oreo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Oreo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Oreo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
