About this Dog
LOCATION: Saint Stephen, South CarolinaDOB: 02/14/2022Willow needs a miracle home now. And we aren’t going to sugar-coat it. Willow is tough. As a young pup, she was attacked by a dog and she has never gotten over that. She is unpredictable with people and dogs. Just when we think we have her figured out, she acts out in new and unexpected ways. That being said, we are Save Rocky the Great Dane Rescue AND Rehab. Can Willow be rehabbed? Probably. Would it be easy? Definitely not. Can we find a home that is a SAFE place for her, that Willow agrees is a safe environment, and that is willing to try? That is the $10 million question. She has been with an amazing friend of the rescue for over 3 months now – and the assessment is grim. It’s not just that she can be sketchy, it’s that she is unpredictable. Some of the most concerning behaviors:1. She does not like other dogs. Period. She has been able to be around a couple dogs for the first time since she’s been in our care. But never unsupervised. And she simply cannot be trusted. She has done well with a dog one day, and then hates that dog the next with no visible trigger.2. She has a bite history. She does not like her head reached for – be it to put on a collar or for any other reason. 3. Men are not her jam. 4. She pees when nervous. It’s not all bad though:1. She knows several commands – like sit, stay, leave it, and will wait for the good girl command to eat her food. She walks great on leash.2. She is okay with cats.3. She is very food motivated and can be a loving, gentle-soul when she feels safe. 4. She loves car rides!!!So what kind of needle-in-the-haystack home does she need: It is a special home, preferably female-only household. NO young kids given her unpredictable yo-yo behavior and bite potential. She needs a LOW/NO traffic home with a fenced in yard. Her home will need a LOT of patience and understand that Willow has some past trauma and may bite. Willow has been bounced through several homes. She’s worked with a trainer. She’s made improvements. But her unpredictability has not abated. We cannot begin to understand what caused her to be this way, but it seems that she is always operating under a veil of fear. If we cannot find an appropriate placement, we will have no other choice but to compassionately euthanize. It is not fair to her to keep bouncing her around and HOPE we’ve found a suitable environment that SHE feels safe in.========================= To apply to adopt me, please fill out the application form! https://form.jotform.com/51994996709176 .For more information, please email us at [email protected]. Adopt Willow and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Willow's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Willow's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Willow, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Willow's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Willow was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Willow’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Willow’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Willow’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
