About this Dog
**updating bio**Location: Ft. Worth, Texas (transport options nationwide)DOB: 1/28/2021I am an 104lb four-year-old playful boy who enjoys my furry Great Dane brother and sister and Blue Healer sister. They’re all on the elderly side so I have had no interaction with young pups yet.I did see a cat at the vets office in the waiting room and watched her for a bit, but we did not interact.I also enjoyed a weekend hanging out with a seven-year-old boy who visited my house where I discovered that I like to play with toys and I can run a good zoomie around the yard.I am ready to go when I see the leash because I definitely want to go outside or go for a ride in the car. Car rides are not a problem because I love to look out the window or just settle down for the trip.I am very strong and sometimes get a little excited and pull my foster mama, so I could use a little more leash training.I am completely potty trained and have had no accidents in the house. I quickly learned how to use a doggie door and I have no trouble going in my crate up upon request.I do a great job staying crated when I’m home alone, and my mama has trusted me out for about 30 minutes with furry siblings while she was shopping and I was a good boy. I would love to sleep in the bed with my humans if allowed, but I will happily snuggle down for a good nights sleep on my dog bed.My mama brags that I stay off the furniture unless I’m invited up.I am VERY tall and I definitely enjoy browsing for things left on the counter, but my mama has been teaching me “leave it” and I’m doing pretty well! I also know how to sit shake, and lay down when asked.I love to lean on my humans for a little affection, but I also love just chilling out on my bed while the family watches television.I’m not really a kisser, but I’m happy to accept pets and kisses from my humans. The nail tech said I behaved well and laid right down for a nail trim at the vets office and my mom can stick her hand right in my food bowl while I eat, and it doesn’t bother me at all.I’m a happy boy and I like to talk to the other dogs in the neighborhood when I hear them barking over the fence, but I come running when mama calls me in the house.Note: SRGDRR adopts nationwide and offers transport options to help you find your perfect match! Adopt George and Receive George's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, George's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is George's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the George, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming George's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and George was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, George’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the George’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, George’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
