She came into rescue over a year and a half ago, pregnant and unsure, and watched every one of her puppies find homes while she stayed behind, quietly waiting her turn.Jojo is a striking Doberman-Cane Corso mix with the heart of a best friend and the soul of an athlete. Whether she’s trotting alongside her foster on 5Ks and 10Ks, keeping her foster company while making deliveries, or lounging peacefully in the dugout during softball games, Jojo is always ready to be part of the moment. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and a total angel in the house—you can leave her out while you’re away without a single worry. No chewing, no destruction, just a couch potato holding down the fort.She’s a social butterfly who lights up around people, especially kids. Her love for children is something special—she happily rolls over for belly rubs and soaks up every bit of affection they offer. She’s calm, patient, and gentle, with a soft spot for the little ones. Out in public, she’s a well-mannered, leash-savvy companion who adores car rides and outings to dog-friendly stores. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jojo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jojo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Jojo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jojo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
