About this Dog
This gentle fella was rescued from the streets of TX by SSR. Tigger is such a good boy! He is up to date on shots, neutered, housebroken, and walks well on the leash. Tigger is showing playfulness with larger dogs but has shown some resource guarding by growling at smaller dogs. When food/snuggles aren't involved he is very gentle and tries to lick their faces. He has also shown some prey drive with cats if they run. He prefers to be in the company of people, rather than alone and considers himself a lap dog. He absolutely loves snuggles and will make a cute little wooing noise when trying to get your attention. He has been great with people, showing no aggression or reactivity when being handled or over food/toys. When outside he will stick close to you. He is not reactive on the leash, or through fencing/barriers. Tigger does have some anxiety when left alone at this time but is quickly settling in here and relaxing. We have also started working on crate training. A nice bully stick or chew goes a long way to keeping him occupied. He is currently recovering from his neuter but will be ready to go to his forever home after that. Otherwise he is a healthy young fella just looking for some people to show him all the love he's missed out on in his life. Tigger is heartworm negative.
