About this Dog
Milton is a 3-year-old shepherd - another failed pup from TX. He lived outside, unloved until street feeders noticed his decline and reached out to SSR. Milton is currently being fostered in TX. He is heartworm +. SSR is paying for his heartworm treatment. Milton has some instability in his hind quarters. Follow-up is scheduled with the vet to investigate further. He is still decompressing and loves being with his foster mom; others he is not too sure of at this point. He is crate and leash trained. When Milton is outside and loses sight of his foster, he panics and runs back inside. Milton has been introduced to the foster's small dogs and he is non-reactive. Milton will chase the feral cats outside but knows to leave the foster's indoor cats alone. He also responds well to the NO command. Milton is in search of a loving forever home. Let us know if you are interested in making him part of your pack!
