About this Dog
Adonis is a 4-5 year old male Pyrenees mix weighing around 90lbs. It’s a miracle Adonis is alive! Let us tell you his story— He was found in a culvert weighing only 46lbs! He was near death due to being so starved and neglected. Fort Worth shelter picked him up and immediately started him on fluids, special diet, and medications. It was touch and go but Adonis is a strong boy and he pulled through and is thriving. His foster continued all his supportive care and his physical issues are all healed. He is at his full weight and has blossomed into a handsome and gorgeous male Pyrenees mix. He is not destructive inside or outside of my home and is not a digger. He does patrol the yard and will bark at strangers. He is dog friendly with all sorts of breeds, male and female dogs, small, medium, and large dogs. He is cat neutral i.e. if the cat claws or bites him he runs away and ignores the cat but if the cat is friendly he will hang out with the cat. He is a shy, sweet guy and would prefer a calm home without screaming or chaos as that will scare him. Fireworks do frighten him so during those holidays, he needs to be indoors. He is healed physically but emotionally he is a very sensitive soul and would not do well with a loud dominant family or person. He is standoffish at first but if you take time with him and talk sweetly, he warms up to you and is super loving when he trusts you. He likes all kinds of goodies, treats, food of all sorts. His ideal home he could be an only dog or have a doggie buddy. He could be with a family if the kids are sweet and gentle, a couple, or a single person. He is not much of a hiker or runner, but walks would be sufficient. Must have a fenced yard as he will roam if no fence or holes in your fence. He is not off leash trained. He is trained for sit, come, heel for leash walking, and “nice” or “gentle” for taking treats. The only thing this sweet giant is not fond of is his crate. He sleeps in his crate at night, and it is his safe place if you do not close the door. He has no issue with riding in the car as he has learned the car can go fun places. He is such a super great dog and has come so far; he needs his forever home for this sweet gentle giant!!! Adonis is currently being fostered in the DFW area and can be on the next PNW transport! Adopt Adonis and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Adonis's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Adonis's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Adonis, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Adonis's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Adonis was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Adonis’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Adonis’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Adonis’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
