About this Dog
Meet Addie â a young snugglebug who has spent over 300 days at the shelter waiting for her person. Addie is beautiful inside and out. Even after being abandoned as a puppy at a playground with a poorly healed ankle fracture, this happy, loving, playful girl models a resilient spirit that refuses to be broken.Addie recently got a break from kennel life and absolutely nailed her first overnight outing. She strolled calmly on leash through the busy streets of downtown Austin, charming everyone she met with her wiggly body and sweet, attentive vibes. In the hotel, she self-entertained with stuffy toys, slept soundly overnight, and was perfectly polite with verbal cues. She greeted new humans with gentle kisses and passed other dogs on walks without a fuss. She's clearly house-trained and ready to be someone's very best girl.Sheâs social, affectionate, dog-friendly, and treat-motivated â she already knows `sit` and would thrive learning more. Addie is a great fit for a home or apartment, and would love a playful dog sibling or sturdy kids 10+ to share her big-hearted love with. Addie has the odds stacked against her: she's a big dog, a bully breed, a long-stay, and has some lingering medical issues that would heal better in a real home. Letâs prove the stereotypes wrong. Come meet this overlooked gem and help her finally leave the shelter behind.Reach out to [email protected] to kickstart this heartwarming journey. 100% of *ADDIE's balance will be sent to whoever adopts *ADDIE.
Adopt *ADDIE and Receive *ADDIE's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, *ADDIE's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is *ADDIE's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the *ADDIE, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming *ADDIE's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and *ADDIE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, *ADDIE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the *ADDIE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, *ADDIE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
