7/9/2024Ryleigh II is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! My name is Ryleigh II! I am a beautiful 8 year old white girl that is an owner surrender after being rescued from an abusive home and the resident dogs in my current home and I are not getting along. I am described as protective and nervous. I can be dog friend selective and not get along with them, so being the only dog in the home may be best for me. I currently live with a 15 year old kid and do well with him. If I see a cat outside I do not bother them, but if it is in the house, I will chase them. I am timid when first meeting someone but will open up after a bit. I am house trained but will need assistance with crate training manners if that is required in my forever home. I have slept outside in my past life but now sleep inside and do fine. If the humans must be away and I am left alone, I react fine. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig. I am fearful of thunder and fireworks but love riding in the car on adventures! Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ryleigh II’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ryleigh II’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
