6/29/2025Lane is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! My name is Lane! I am a handsome 9-week-old boy (approx DOB 4/25/2025) that is an owner surrender due to being born in my current home and they cannot keep me. I am described as friendly, active, smart, noisy, playful, and affectionate! I am said to be dog friendly, but I have never lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. I live with two kids (ages 8 and 12 years) and do well with them! I am a puppy with puppy tendencies and would need assistance with house training manners in my forever home. I am crate trained and at night I sleep in my crate. If the owners must be away, I am fine by myself as long as I am let outside to go to the bathroom first. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/ gates. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, running, playing, tennis balls, and other dogs! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lane was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lane’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lane’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lane’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
