7/3/2025Bella XIV is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! My name is Bella XIV! I am a beautiful 6 year old flashy brindle girl that is an owner surrender due to my family moving where pets aren't allowed. I am described as friendly, shy, active, smart, protective, playful, nervous, and obedient! I am said to be dog and kid friendly and currently live with 3 kids (ages 17-20 years). I have never lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. I am house trained, crate trained, and at night I sleep in the bed with the humans. If the humans must be away and I am left alone, I am calm and will sleep until the humans come back. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I get nervous when new people come to my house but love being around people once I know them! I am scared of loud noises and fireworks but some of my favorite things are riding in the car, balls, squeakers, being around people, getting affection, and sitting/laying in the human's lap! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bella XIV was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bella XIV’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bella XIV’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bella XIV’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
