10/16/2024Animais is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! My name is Animais! I am a handsome 9-year-old flashy fawn guy that is an owner surrender due to a change of lifestyle and my current owner can't afford medical treatment for me. One of my eyes appears different from the other, but while I am waiting for my forever home, they are looking into my eye. I am described as friendly, smart, calm, protective, affectionate, quiet, and obedient! I am said to be dog and kid friendly! I get along with all dog ages and share well with them! There are kids of all ages that visit my home and I'm great with them and protect them! I am not cat friendly, so I need a cat free home. I am house trained, crate trained, and at night I sleep in the human bed. When the humans must be away, I am great being left alone. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I am fearful of fireworks but some of my favorite things are riding in the car, any dog toy, basically anything and everything! My current owner says I am "a great boxer for any family of all ages". For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Animais was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Animais’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Animais’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Animais’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
