About this Dog
King comes from a rocky backround. I adopted him at the colony animal shelter in 2020 when he was 2 years old. He is a pitbull/mastiff mix. I got him for my mother when I moved out, my mother recently passed away in October of 2023. We were made aware that the owners before us physically abused him, mentally abused him, and environmentally abused him. Due to this fact he is also terrified of thunder storms and hides when he can sense theres one coming (mainly goes into the bathroom tub) He really is a sweet loving dog and is good with kids over the age of 7 years old. We have given him a wonderful life while he's been with us, we've taken good care of him! He's a spoiled baby and really is the sweetest he just isn't great with young children and is unpredictable around them. I have a almost 4 year old son and a new born on the way and I just dont trust him around my young ones. He would be best fit in a home with no young children and if there are other dogs he would need to be fed separately and any other food or dog food bags would need to be picked up if it's laying out. I've had him in my home for 4 years and I really do love him I'd hate to surrender him but again I cannot trust his unpredictable lash outs towards my young children.

After verifying the adoption, King's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and King was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, King’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
