Ginger is a dark orange tabby kitty about 2 1/2 years of age. She has a fluffy soft coat that is medium in length with a long haired tail. Her coat needs to be brushed or combed on a regular basis- perhaps twice a week- to remain tangle free. Currently her coat is a bit choppy and unkept- the result of having to cut out several mats in her pretty coat, so grooming is important. Ginger was adopted through the SPCA as a sweet, gentle, laid back kitten and still is a happy, affectionate snuggler. She and the new dog did not get along so she is looking for a new forever indoor home. She may be fine with other laid back dogs, or perhaps she would rather not share her home with them. Most importantly she is looking for a loving home where she will be pampered and have lots of kitty toys and the attention of her human. Amarillo SPCA, 11901 S. Coulter. 806-622-0555.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ginger was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ginger’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ginger’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ginger’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
