This sweet girl is Chloe. We pulled her from a hoarding situation that a shelter had got. She was one of the 112 chihuahuas that were there. She was very pregnant. She gave birth to 4 puppies the day after coming to foster care. She was such a good mom. Chloe was a nervous wreck when she first came to us. After some love, she came out of her shell. She is a typical chihuahua where she is nervous at the beginning. But this girl is the sweetest tiny girl. She does great with dogs and cats. Uses a puppy pad perfectly. She does enjoy going outside also. Chloe will thrive in a calm home without children under the age of 10. She will make an amazing dog for anyone looking for a sweet loving girl. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Chloe was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Chloe’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Chloe’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Chloe’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
