Meet Henry and Hank, a bonded pair of sweet beagles in search of their forever home. These brothers were found at a boat dock in a rural area with no animal shelter, and sadly, only they could be caught. While Henry could potentially thrive on his own, Hank truly needs his brother for comfort and support. Henry has a grade five heart murmur, but an echocardiogram shows he doesn’t need medication at this time. Future meds will be required, so adopters should be prepared. Hank, who is very shy and lacks confidence, has undergone hernia surgery and still has a small one, but it’s not a concern. A fenced yard is a must. They absolutely love spending nice days outside together and get excited for their daily leisurely leash walks with their foster mom. Despite their health issues, Henry and Hank are incredibly sweet and deserving of a bright future as pampered pets. Can you give these loving beagles a home for their golden years? For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Hank (bonded with Henry) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Hank (bonded with Henry)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Hank (bonded with Henry)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Hank (bonded with Henry)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
