About this Dog
*** Check Out My Video Album Below! *** Come on over and say howdy to our sweet Samantha! This lovely mature lady is the pyrfect gal for a home that is willing to involve her as an essential part of the family. Samantha came into rescue after being mistreated, but she has since settled nicely in her foster home, and is eagerly learning all the perks of being the pyrfect companion. All in all, Miss Samantha is pretty easy-going and enjoying life where she is loved and cherished. She is timid with new people, but once warmed up, she will put her head in your hands to make you pet her, soaking up all the attention she can get! She is happy to hang out in her bed or outside guarding her property most of the day - a 6’ fence is perfect for her. In the mornings she gets frisky outside and loves to run around in circles, then flop her whole body down mid-run onto her back, paws up! This smart lady is crate trained, walks well on leash, and is generally agreeable to coming when called. The highlight of her day is her sniff walk - after all, it is important to stay updated on the neighborhood news! This goofy girl will get sassy and stare and grunt when she is ready for her walkies. She enjoys meandering around town for an hour or so, taking in all the smells. Regular enrichment activities are much appreciated, both to keep her mentally stimulated and encourage low-impact activities to continue to build up strength and keep her mobile. With proper introduction, Samantha enjoys the company of her four-legged furry friends. She especially loves the male dogs she meets, and has been "flirting" with the neighbor boy; it is adorable to see her nose bumping him and eagerly wag her tail as she approaches the proximity of her "boyfriend." We are pawsitive that she will thrive in a home where she is loved and pampered. We have no doubt that, if you are willing to open your heart and your home to this lovely lady, Samantha will love you to the moon and back and then some more!
