About this Dog
Hi… my name is Madison. I don’t really know how I ended up here—one minute I was with my litter, and now I’m in this loud place with lots of other dogs and strange smells. I’m just a baby… they say I’m a terrier-poodle mix, about 3 months old and only 7 pounds. That doesn’t feel very big when the world is so loud and confusing. Sometimes, when the people here walk by my kennel, I wag my little tail as fast as I can, hoping someone will notice me. I try to be brave, but at night when everything goes quiet, I get really scared. I miss warm laps and gentle hands. I miss falling asleep to a heartbeat, not barking and echoing walls. There’s one bright spot though—I’m not completely alone. I have a sister named Coolidge, and she helps me be just a little bit braver. She’s sweet like me, and we cuddle together and whisper puppy secrets when it’s scary. We don’t have to be adopted together, but knowing she’s here with me has made this strange place a little less lonely. But I’m still trying to be hopeful. Because I know there’s someone out there who’s meant to find me. Someone who will scoop me up and tell me I’m safe now. I’ll give them my whole heart, because that’s what puppies do. I’ll follow them around the house like a little shadow, I’ll chase toys (especially the squeaky ones!), and I’ll curl up in the tiniest ball right beside them when it’s time to nap. I just want to grow up knowing love—not fear. So if you’ve been looking for a sweet, scruffy little girl who’s still figuring it all out but has so much love to give… please come get me. My name is Madison, and I’m waiting for you. Adopt Madison and Receive Madison's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Madison's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Madison's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Madison, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Madison's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Madison was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Madison’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Madison’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Madison’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
