Hey… it’s me, Dozer. I don’t have much time left, so I’m just going to say it plain and simple — I need you. Right now. My days are coming to a close here at the shelter, and I don’t want to leave this world without knowing what it feels like to have my very own person. I’ve been waiting. But I’m still here, hoping someone will choose me. So here’s what I want:One human or family. One home. One couch. That’s it. I don’t need other dogs. I don’t want to share you with cats. I just want YOU. I’m a one-person kind of guy — loyal, loving, and ready to be your shadow. I love other people too but I will have eyes only for you. You want a walking buddy? I’m in. Long walks, short walks — I’ll go wherever you want to go. But between us? I’m just as happy with a short stroll to the fridge and then back to the couch for a nap. I’m housebroken. I walk great on a leash. I’ve got the kind of smile that’ll light up your day, even when life is hard. I also have an ADORABLE snort! And I’ll give you every bit of love I’ve been holding onto, just waiting for the right person. I'm a five year old, sixty-five pound cuddle bug! But you need to hurry. After we have verified the adoption, Dozer - BEYOND URGENT!!!’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Dozer - BEYOND URGENT!!!’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Dozer - BEYOND URGENT!!!’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
