About this Dog
I’m Zelda… and I’m scared. I don’t know what I did wrong. One day, I had a person… a routine… a home. And now? I’m sitting in a loud, scary place. I hear barking all the time. I sleep on cold concrete. I try to be brave, but I’m losing hope. I’m an 8-year-old, 69 lb boxer mix, and I promise, I’m a good girl. I’ve already figured out how to live in a home—I’m housebroken, and I have wonderful house manners. I’m not wild or destructive. I just want to quietly be near someone who loves me. I walk nicely on a leash, and I listen when you talk to me. I love people—all people. And get this? I get along with other dogs, cats, and even kids! I just… I just want a chance to be someone’s dog again. My brother, Arlo, is here too! We would love to find our forever home together but right now we both just want to get out alive and it's not looking good. People keep saying we are both on the “chopping block first.” I don’t know what that means, but it doesn’t sound good. I don’t want to die in here. I still have love to give. So much love. I just need someone to see me and say, “That’s my dog.” If you have space in your heart or your home, please come for me (us). Love,Zelda (& Arlo) *Guest Posting**Discount for both!**You can foster to adopt, foster or adopt!* If you would like to meet your new best friend, contact the Adoption Coordinator at [email protected] or 865-236-0830.
