About this Dog
*** Check Out My Video Album Below! *** Meet Charlotte, an adorable adult Great Pyrenees with a beautiful all-white, long coat who's looking for her forever home! This sweet 75-pound girl is incredibly social and has never met a stranger—she'll happily approach new people for pets and attention, even offering her paw to make friends! Charlotte is wonderfully versatile, getting along splendidly with dogs, cats, and children (though she plays a bit too enthusiastically with lambs). She's calm, affectionate, and well-behaved—walking nicely on a leash, enjoying car rides, and is already crate trained. While her housebreaking status is unknown as she's currently in boarding, Charlotte has many excellent qualities that make her a perfect companion. She requires a home with a 6-foot fence, as she can easily scale shorter barriers. Currently available for fostering or adoption, Charlotte would bring joy and love to any home that can provide her with the secure environment she needs—she's the pyrfect match for anyone with a tall fence and no lambs! Our relationship doesn’t end with adoption, as we continue to support adopters throughout the lifetime of their dog. Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
