About this Cat
Taco and Burrito are gorgeous seal-point Siamese mix male kittens about 10 weeks old (DOB about 5/13/25). A rescuer in Oak Ridge is working on controlling the feline population at a mostly-abandoned house (the owner comes and feeds the cats). On 5/13/25, a small meow led her to a mom birthing her kittens. She scooped up the mom and her four kittens and put them in an empty box in her car to head to a safe place. By the time she got there, there were four more kittens! So Taco and Burrito were born in an empty microwave box in a Rav4 on the move! The rescuer asked her neighbor to foster the little family, and they must have gotten a lot of attention, because they are very, very social. The kittens are familiar with dogs (one small, one medium). They are VERY playful and active. They love to play with toys or other cats and are never bored. They like to be held and to snuggle. They get along well with cats, and I think they'd be great with dogs and kids. They are negative for feline leukemia and aids, had their first distemper vaccine, been wormed, microchipped, had advantage for fleas, and been vet checked and neutered. Additional vaccines included in adoption fee. WE PLAN TO ADOPT THEM AS A BONDED PAIR TO LOCAL ADOPTERS. We do not adopt kittens to homes where they will be a solo pet. Adopt Taco and Burrito and Receive Taco and Burrito's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Taco and Burrito's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Taco and Burrito's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Taco and Burrito, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Taco and Burrito's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Taco and Burrito was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Taco and Burrito’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Taco and Burrito’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Taco and Burrito’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
