Summer got his name because he showed up at the radio station on the first day of summer. He is very tiny but has a big personality. He loves to play with the other cats in the house but when he conks out for a nap, he will go unconscious for about an hour at a time! Lol! Super sweet, fun, friendly, playful, the perfect little kitten companion, in any home. He is fearless and gets along great with the other cats in the house and humans. I’m guessing he would be good with dogs as well. He loves boxes, balls, and wand toys. An easy addition as a friend to your other pets, but would do best in a home where he has someone else to play with.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Summer was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Summer’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Summer’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Summer’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
