About this Cat
Hi there… I’m Little Bean. Yep — a five and a half to six month old girl. And if you know anything about cats, you know how rare orange girls like me are! I guess you could say I’m one of a kind… and after everything I’ve been through, I’m ready to find the forever home that’s just as special as I am. I don’t remember how I ended up all alone in those woods near a shop. It was amazingly scary, and the world felt so big for someone as little as me. I tried to be brave, but I was hungry, covered in fleas, and so very tired. Then, one day, someone kind scooped me up. I didn't know what was happening at first — but it turned out to be the start of something good. I’m sweet. I mean REALLY sweet. I love people, I love to be held, I love to rub my little orange face against yours and tell you that I’m yours if you’ll be mine. I love to sleep with my person. I even like dogs! But more than anything, I’d love to have another kitten (or two!) and/or even a doggie to play and snuggle with. I love doggies too! I’m happiest with furry friends to tumble around with and curl up beside when it’s time to nap. But my story doesn't end there. When I went to get spayed, something strange happened. Even though all the fleas were long gone, my little body had a terrible reaction. My teeth started to chatter, and I felt like I couldn’t breathe. Everything hurt. I was rushed to the vet — they were so worried I wouldn’t make it. I had to stay overnight, with fluids, medications, and whispers that maybe this was the end for me. But I said, no.Not yet.Not after everything.I fought with every tiny ounce of kitten strength I had, and I made it. Now I’m here, alive and full of love, looking for my people — the ones who will see how special I am and promise to never let me go. I want to be part of a family, with laps and toys and maybe a kitten sibling or two to play with. I want safety. I want love. I want home. Could it be with you? With all my brave little heart,Little Bean Ready for forever — and hoping it finds me soon. If you would like to meet your new best friend, contact the Adoption Coordinator at [email protected]. Adopt Little Bean and Receive Little Bean's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Little Bean's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Little Bean's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Little Bean, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Little Bean's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Little Bean was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Little Bean’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Little Bean’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Little Bean’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
