About this Cat
Dewey is a handsome beige tabby male kitten about 12 weeks (DOB about 3/25/25). He and his littermates, Theo, Pippa, and Aubrey, have been in foster care since 4/5/25 and are very well socialized. They are so much fun to watch. They will play with toys, chase each other, and provide hours of entertainment. They LOVE everyone as soon as they meet them. They are VERY playful and active. They love to play with toys or other cats and are never bored. They like to be held and to snuggle. They get along well with cats, and we think they'd be great with dogs and kids. They are negative for feline leukemia and aids, had two distemper vaccines, been wormed, had advantage for fleas, and been vet checked and neutered. Additional vaccines (third distemper and rabies) included in adoption fee. May be adopted separately or as a pair (discount for two!) Preference will be given to local adopters who have a young playmate companion for the kitten or are willing to adopt a pair. We do not adopt kittens to homes where they will be a solo pet. 100% of Dewey's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Dewey.
Adopt Dewey and Receive Dewey's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Dewey's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Dewey's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Dewey, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Dewey's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Dewey was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Dewey’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Dewey’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Dewey’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
