About this Cat
For my book girlies and SJM lovers, Kaltain is the perfect cat for you! Somehow she has been in the rescue for OVER A YEAR!! If you can’t adopt her, please share her story, tag your friends. She deserves a forever home and she’s been waiting too long! Kaltain was a bottle baby that came to us last spring which gives her a unique connection to her humans. She finds one member of the household and decides that that is her person. She demonstrates her love by demanding pets, gently grabbing ankles and legs as you walk by, and nightly cuddles in the bed. Kaltain can be a bit standoffish at first, but once she warms up, you’ll have a companion for life. She isn’t a sit on you kind of cat, but definitely a sit beside you kind of cat. She’s great around other cats and dogs. She’d do fine in a home without furry companions as long as she has plenty of activities and things to keep her occupied. She’d also be fine with furry friends. She would not do okay with really young children, as her ankle grabbing habit could prove to be problematic. Not that she’d hurt them, but I’m afraid she would trip them. Repeatedly ♀️. She has excellent litter box manners and her food preference is the edible kind (as you can probably tell by the photos). Please consider giving Kaltain a forever home. You won’t regret it!

Adopt Kaltain and Receive Kaltain's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kaltain's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Kaltain's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Kaltain, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Kaltain's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kaltain was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kaltain’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kaltain’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kaltain’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
