Amber sure lives up to her name where the color of amber imbues, warmth, positivity and wisdom. Would you see when you first meet this beautiful, young girl is an 18 month, 60 pound Collie mix that loves to receive affection as well since she has so much to give back. You can see in one of the pictures how much she adored the 8 year old girl that helped with her photo session. Amber was found as a stray but we KNOW she once was someone's pet and Amber was around children. We want a family that will enjoy having this girl right by your side and meeting new people that she so enjoys being around. She never meets a stranger. and she is easy to love. Critter Cavalry Rescue volunteers readily took her in and quickly found out how smart she is. She is learning to walk on a leash, we also have learned that due to being astray and wandering on her own for a while. She is developed a bit of a clingy personality that will need a little bit of work and reassurance. Amber loves to play with her stuffed bunny who seems to be her BFF and she also likes to be brushed. She's a sweetheart with other dogs, but we haven't had a chance to cat.test her and will if that is a trait that you desire her to be good at Critter Cavalry Rescue is offering this girl as a special companion to a family with children or grandchildren that visit alot. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and AMBER LUVS KIDS was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, AMBER LUVS KIDS’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the AMBER LUVS KIDS’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, AMBER LUVS KIDS’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
