CASSIUS CLAY is a brown male tabby kitten. He arrived at the shelter in late June 2025 and has just now received his second set of kitten vaccines. Staff estimated his age at 12 weeks at Intake.He has also been dewormed routinely. So, he is now available for adoption. When he first arrived and was alone in a condo he screamed his head off. Poor little guy! Once he got used to having good food on a regular basis, some love and attention and another little kitten friend, he finally calmed down.This beautiful young fellow does like to play, and he especially loves the wet food that he receives daily in addition to his dry kitten chow. He has been paired up with another little kitten since reaching the shelter to give him a buddy to hang out with and to test his friendliness. He is a good companion and is now looking for a family or person who thinks that he is special enough to adopt into their life!.However, he must be neutered before he can go home with you as your own. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!

For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.

This is to ensure that the home is a good match and CASSIUS CLAY was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, CASSIUS CLAY’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the CASSIUS CLAY’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, CASSIUS CLAY’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
