About this Dog
Five years old. 56 pounds at Intake. And she is a spayed female, which means she can go home the same day that she is adopted! MAYBELL is a very sweet girl. Staff has listed her as a possible Catahoula/Mountain Cur mix. She arrived at the shelter in mid June 2024 and hopes to get adopted quickly as the shelter is overloaded with adult dogs and puppies, as usual. This time of the year it is even worse than normal. So, the faster that the “already spayed and neutered” animals are adopted and able to leave, the less pressure pressure on the remaining animals and staff. MAYBELL is certainly doing her part to make that happen by showing her sweet face in her photos. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking a dog collar and leash with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt MAYBELL. Even better, take a dog crate with you in the car to the adoption appointment. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!

Adopt MAYBELL (Spayed!) and Receive MAYBELL (Spayed!)'s Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, MAYBELL (Spayed!)'s new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is MAYBELL (Spayed!)'s current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the MAYBELL (Spayed!), thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming MAYBELL (Spayed!)'s contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and MAYBELL (Spayed!) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, MAYBELL (Spayed!)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the MAYBELL (Spayed!)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, MAYBELL (Spayed!)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
