MYSTERY MAN is about two years of age. He is a handsome white American Bulldog mix with black markings. His intake weight was 52 pounds. He arrived at the shelter at the end of July 2024 with the sweetest face and a charming personality. He is definitely a keeper, so it is odd that nobody has come looking for him. Unfortunately, that happens all too often at the shelter. However, he has a great staff to work with that will make sure he finds a wonderful person or family to call his own for his future life. Thankfully, staff was able to get him in for a neuter appointment at the new spay/neuter clinic in town on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. As a result, he can go home the same day that he is adopted! Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking a dog collar and leash with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt him. Even better, take a dog crate with you to the adoption appointment. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and MYSTERY MAN (Neutered!) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, MYSTERY MAN (Neutered!)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the MYSTERY MAN (Neutered!)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, MYSTERY MAN (Neutered!)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
