About this Dog
Foster or Adopter needed to get Rusty out of boarding!Hey there! My name is Rusty, I'm a 7 year old Jack Russell terrier. I'm searching for my furever home at no fault of my own. The adult humans have mini humans now and they terrify me and I act out of fearful behavior. I'm not able to really shine in my environment or take my guard down. im an amazing dog and 100% your typical stubborn Jack russell. I love being outdoors in the summer and sun bathing, im not fond of the rain or this snow stuff we've had lately. Those days I am what mom calls "a couch potato ". I am currently living with a 10 year old fur brother who's a english shepherd. I think I'd love a home with no little humans, and if I could be the only dog or meet the dog to make sure I'm comfortable is more ideal. 2 years ago I was attacked by some big dogs, I thought they wanted to play but they weren't raised the same as me and it ended up with me being hospitalized for a few weeks. I had a long road of recovery but I made it ! Mom said that's just the breed I am, we're a fighter. I'm more fearful of new fur friends since this accident but mom tells me to keep a open mind and tries to relax me in any stressful situations. I love those treat puzzles , walks , running after rabbits in our yard, car rides, I love to howl and voice my opinion too. That's alittle bit about me , until next time Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. Adopt Rusty * and Receive Rusty *'s Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Rusty *'s new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Rusty *'s current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Rusty *, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Rusty *'s contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rusty * was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rusty *’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Rusty *’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rusty *’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
