Charlie is a 7yr old neutered cotton de tulear, he doesn’t mind other dogs but he is sensitive with younger children overloadHe is great, loves to sit and cuddle, will go outside and come back on command, loves to “talk” when asking for food/water and outside, he’ll sit by the door or run around to let you know he needs to go out. Charlie is currently up to date but they recommended to me for him to be sedated for vaccines and grooms; he doesn’t mind his hair being brushed by my husband but we personally haven’t tried any further. He loves car rides, we currently reside in Union grove AL but I’m willing to meet on a day my husband has off, as we’re currently vehicle sharing. I’d just love him to have the best home fit Charlie needs a foster adopter ASAP. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.The application is the first step. Russell Rescue dogs are fostered in the Middle Tennessee area. We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee. Russell Rescue will try to first place our rescue dogs locally or in surrounding states.Russell Rescue is not open to the public for visiting hours. We do not have a physical location of our own. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Charlie~'s new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Charlie~ was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Charlie~’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Charlie~’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Charlie~’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
