Hi, I’m Heidi Rose CP! I’m 3 years old and I’m a Cairn Terrier! You may have heard of this breed and I’ll tell you where…The Wizard of Oz! That’s right, Toto was a Cairn Terrier. I’m very friendly and energetic! I love to run in the yard and lay in the sun! I also love a good cuddle in your lap on the couch! I’m looking for a human who will spoil me and keep me pretty but I’m also looking for a small 4 legged friend who I can play with! I love cats, too! I’m only 15lbs and I won’t get any bigger, unless you feed me too much! I’m not a picky eater either, I’ll take it any way you give it to me! And I love treats so much! I also love to lick and clean you, I think it’s because I’ve had 2 litters of babies and I just loved to clean them…I can’t have anymore babies though. That’s fine, stuffies will do! I will tell you though, I hate using the bathroom outside. I like to use my puppy pads, so I hope that’s ok with you. Hope to meet you soon!!Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.The application is the first step. Russell Rescue dogs are fostered in the Middle Tennessee area. We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee. Russell Rescue will try to first place our rescue dogs locally or in surrounding states.Russell Rescue is not open to the public for visiting hours. We do not have a physical location of our own. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Heidi Rose CP was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Heidi Rose CP’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Heidi Rose CP’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Heidi Rose CP’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
