Fiona is a 6 year old Toy Manchester Terrier and weighs 11 1/2 pounds. This is a quiet, sweet little lady that is great with other dogs and has no issues with strangers. We don't know if she has been around children but older, respectful ones should be fine. We are working on crate training here at the rescue and that should be continued in her new home to finish house training. Her daddy became ill and could not longer care for her so that is why she is with us. She should do well with most any family. Manchester Terriers are know for their intelligence and complete loyalty to their people. She is also alert and prances around like a dignified little lady and you can't help but love her. Fiona is spayed, microchipped and current on shots and preventions. If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at Richardsonrescue.org. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Fiona was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Fiona’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Fiona’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Fiona’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
