About this Dog
Silas was born here on 5-7-24 and is another baby that hasn't had a visit or a chance at a "furever" family up to this point. This guy is very lovable and totally enjoys playing fetch and only weighs in at around 35 pounds so, he will not be a large boy. He is great with other dogs but does have high play energy and another dog in the home would need to match. However, he is submissive with other dogs if it comes to that. Silas is still a big puppy and will need some training in his new home. He also seems to prefer being outside to inside, so if you want a dog that likes a lot of outdoor time, this is the one. This boy has a gentle temperament and you can do anything in the world to him with no issues. So, any active family with room for him to run should work for this guy. He is also mostly house trained but does prefer outside with a fence to run in and we are working with him on a leash. He is up to date medically for his age and current on flea/heartworm prevention and neutered. If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at Richardsonrescue.org.

Adopt Silas and Receive Silas's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Silas's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Silas's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Silas, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Silas's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Silas was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Silas’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Silas’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Silas’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
