Niklaus is a full Husky born 4-11-25. He is a bit more timid than his brother and sister but no less sweet. We just think he's still trying to get his bearings because you can do anything in the world to him with no issues. He just takes a minute before he runs to you for love and play. At this age, he should do well with other dogs, children and cats. This is a high energy breed that needs a yard to run and regular outside walks or jogs. He should do well with most any active family with room for him to run. He is a puppy and will need all the training that comes along with a new puppy including house training. Niklaus will be current on medical for his age, microchipped and current on preventions. If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at Richardsonrescue.org. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Nicklaus was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Nicklaus’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Nicklaus’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Nicklaus’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
