About this Dog
Cora was born October 26, 2022 and what a beauty. She does well with all adults here and has been around children with no problems. She is energetic and playful which is typical of this working breed once she gets to know you. Cora has the typical shyness of strangers that comes with the breed and may not come running to you when you visit but we have had no nippy issues with her. She loves the guys that clean the kennels and loves to snuggle with them. She would do best with room to run. She is okay with some dogs but not others. So, a home with no other dogs may be best for now. She has not been around cats and we can't offer an opinion on how she is with cats. She is house and crate trained, walks on a leash and knows basic commands. We think she would do best with an adult home right now that is a bit on the quiet side and that has patience while she adjusts to her new surroundings. A country home would be awesome! Cora is spayed, microchipped and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention. If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at RichardsonRescue.org. That is also where our most current list of adoptable pets is located.

Adopt Cora and Receive Cora's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cora's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Cora's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Cora, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Cora's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cora was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cora’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cora’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cora’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
