About this Dog
Mick is a tricolor hound weighing 47 pounds with a short, sleek coat. He was found by a Good Samaritan who kept him safe and contacted PLP. Mick loves attention and is very laid back. He likes to chill and hang out next to his person. Will help you with gardening and even do some yoga with you. :) He likes everyone he meets. He’s playful and gets along well with the four other dogs at his foster home. Mick would do well in a home with another dog to be his playmate. Mick is a good car traveler. He loves to chase a ball in the yard. He’ll return the ball to the thrower a few times, but ultimately ends up playing with it alone. He must have a fenced yard. He is still working on coming when called. One of Mick’s favorite past times is a nap. Any dog bed will do just fine. Mick also sleeps at night in his dog bed. He enjoys playing with all types of toys or just looking out a window. Mick rarely barks. When Mick initially arrived to his foster home, he marked his territory inside. A belly band cured that issue within a few days. He is now house broken and signals that he needs to go outside by getting excited and jumpy. Mick currently enjoys three meals a day of one cup of dog food at each meal. He dines alone. If no one is home, Mick is crated. Mick does better on a leash if walking with another dog. He is currently in a home with a big, fenced yard and goes out and does his business. He will play ball and run and play with the other dogs in the home. We don't know if he had much leash training before being found. His preference seems to be running free in the fenced yard. It is unknown if Mick tolerates cats. But it’s been noted that Mick seems to respond better to a deeper voice. Mick is a real people pleaser. Could you be his person? Mick is located in the Myrtle Beach, SC area. Home visit, approved application, and adoption donation of $200 required.

Adopt Mick and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mick's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Mick's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Mick, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Mick's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mick was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mick’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Mick’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mick’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
