About this Dog
Meet Caroline: A Gentle Soul in Search of Home Caroline’s journey began with sorrow—but it’s her spirit that shines through. This sweet little pup was found bravely standing watch by her mother’s side after a tragic accident took her life. On a quiet road in McCormick, Caroline stayed close, quietly guarding, waiting—for someone kind enough to rescue her and offer a second chance. Today, she’s safe. And in that safety, Caroline is blooming. With her soft black coat, white-dipped toes, and a delicate pink-and-white beaded collar, Caroline carries herself with a quiet elegance. She's calm, gentle, and full of trust, despite the heartache she’s endured. Her favorite spot? Curled up in a comfy recliner where she watches the world go by with wise, soulful eyes that seem to ask, "Is my forever out there?" Caroline is incredibly sweet-natured. She adores being near people, leans into affection like she’s found her anchor, and responds to kindness with soft tail wags and quiet cuddles. She doesn’t demand attention—she just melts into your presence like she’s always belonged. She’s perfect for someone who wants a peaceful, loving companion. A gentle presence. A tender friend. Caroline’s ready to find her person. The one who'll love her not in spite of her story, but because of it. Will you be the one to give her the life she’s waited for? Caroline is in a foster home working on basic commands and house manners. She was born in December of 2024 and weighs about 28 pounds. She has been spayed, is microchipped, and up to date on shots. *************************************************************************** This pet comes with an implanted 24 PetWatch microchip and free registration into the 24PetWatch pet recovery service. *************************************************************************** This dog is available for adoption at the Humane Society of McCormick County is SC for an adoption fee. Adopt Caroline and Receive Caroline's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Caroline's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Caroline's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Caroline, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Caroline's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Caroline was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Caroline’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Caroline’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Caroline’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
