About this Dog
*Breed experience (owned as an adult) will be required to adopt Tuffnut. He is NOT a livestock guardian dog and we will not be considering applications wanting him for that purpose* Meet Tuffnut! With his fluffy coat, soulful eyes, and big ol’ puppy paws, Tuffy is likely a mix of Great Pyrenees and Saint Bernard (though his exact lineage is unknown). He’s got the personality to match: sweet, mellow, playful, and deeply devoted. He also has some unique brindle coloring in his dark markings, which makes him extra special—this boy is a total head-turner! Tuffy is doing amazing in his foster home. He sleeps through the night in his crate, is getting the hang of potty training, and absolutely loves playing with his foster brothers. Tuffy would thrive in a forever home with another friendly dog—he’s happiest when he has a companion to play and cuddle with. He’s still a growing pup and will need a family ready to commit to training, socialization, and all the joys (and occasional chaos!) that come with raising a large-breed dog. But he’s already proving to be a fast learner and a total sweetheart. He is neutered, dewormed, microchipped, current with all vaccines (as appropriate for his age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. Tuffnut is currently being fostered in South Carolina. ADOPT TUFFNUT!! www.LuckyPupRescueSC.com The adoption fee is $375.00 and we require a vet check and home visit.

Adopt Tuffnut and Receive Tuffnut's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Tuffnut's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Tuffnut's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Tuffnut, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Tuffnut's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tuffnut was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tuffnut’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tuffnut’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tuffnut’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
