Tofu lives for playtime—whether it’s with her favorite toys, a trusty stick, or whatever else she can scoop up in that curious little mouth of hers. The good news? She’s a polite pup who knows when to drop it like it’s hot (or...like it’s not food). This girl thrives on routine and will quickly become your loyal sidekick in all things cozy. Couch time? She’s there. Netflix marathon? She’s your date—with extra kisses on the side. Bonus feature: she might even groom your hair while you binge-watch—Tofu believes in looking your best. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and current with all vaccines (as appropriate for her age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. Tofu is currently being fostered in South Carolina. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Tofu's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tofu was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tofu’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tofu’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tofu’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
