About this Dog
Annie is a Carolina Dog/Terrier mix, about 4 years old, and 50-55 pounds. Spayed, microchipped, shots up to date, monthly heartworm pill, pee-pad trained-will also let you know she needs to go out. Sweet Annie was found as a stray in February 2021 and has been cared for by an amazing foster family. She is an extremely sweet, loving dog who needs to be with a good family where she can get the attention she needs. She has been going to Astro Kennels since she was found to get socialization and training. She does well riding in the car. She's great with people and loves the attention but needs to be an only dog (no cats). Annie has been around a few older kids and did great! She prefers not to eat alone so she's more likely to eat if you're with her. Her absolute favorite treat is Nubz bones. She will do a little dance for you when you go to give her one. She has lots of energy for zoomies and needs to have a fenced in yard. Annie is a joy. She's done really well getting to know people and learning to trust. She deserves a good life where she can lay on the couch with you, go places with you, sleep in a nice bed with you and be your best friend. Everyone at the kennel loves her and loves spending time with her. She's a very precious dog and will make someone very happy. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Annie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Annie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Annie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Annie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
